The Palos Heights CRC and the American Red Cross are hosting an upcoming blood drive on Thursday, Nov. 21 from 12pm-5pm! Please join our lifesaving mission and schedule an appointment today! As Hurricane Helene has brought widespread, life-threatening storm surges, flooding, and high winds throughout the Southeast, dozens of American Red Cross blood drives have been canceled impacting nearly 1,000 blood and platelet donations. In unaffected areas, individuals are urged to make and keep their blood donation appointments. Blood can take up to three days to be tested, processed, and made available for patients, so it's the blood already on the shelves that helps save lives in an emergency. Give Nov 18 to Dec 8 for two pairs of custom FRIENDS + Red Cross socks, ltd qty.
